Cast and Crew Biographies
- Ross Brighten Shop Foreman/Dialect Coach hails from London, England where he studied theatre at Middlesex University and graduated in 2001. As an active member of the London theatre community Ross was employed at The Chelsea Theatre and The Royal Opera House amongst others. His Lone Star College–Montgomery credits include The Sleeper and The Shape of Things. Other credits include Faust, Romeo and Juliet, Manon, Tosca, Il Trovatore, Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Otello, Simon Boccanegra, Disappeared, Turandot, Blasted, and The Good Person of Szechwan.
- Trent Hooker Rev. David Marshall Lee is a student in his fifth play at Lone Star College–Montgomery. Previous performances were in Bleacher Bums, 96 Minutes (for which he received an Irene Ryan scholarship nomination for outstanding acting) The Sleeper, and The Shape of Things. Other credits include Brutus in Julius Caesar at Rider University. Trent wants to pursue film acting and television and plans on finishing his studies at a major university or acting school to help his aspirations take shape.
- Cooper McClain Stage Manager/Lighting Designer is participating in his fourth show at Lone Star College–Montgomery and is very happy to be here. A theatre scholarship recipient for outstanding technical theatre work, Cooper dedicates his hard work to his mentor and favorite professor, Mr. Waites.
- Grace McDaniel Betty Meeks is a student at participating in her second play at Lone Star College–Montgomery. She was last seen in The Shape of Things. Grace has performed in several plays and hopes to be a comedy film actress. A travel buff, she also wants to spend time all over the world exploring different cultures. “Good show to everyone and I hope the audience loves it.”
- Brittany Miles Catherine Simms is in her second semester at Lone Star College–Montgomery and she is performing in her fourth production here. She appeared in The Shape of Things, The Sleeper and the world premiere of 96 Minutes. Brittany is currently taking acting classes at Project Green Room in Houston and plans to major in communication.
- Macy Perrone Costume Designer originally from “small town” Utah, is enjoying her first year in Houston. She is a graduate of Utah State University where she received a BS in Apparel and Textiles and a MFA in Costume Design. Macy designed The Shape of Things at Lone Star College–Montgomery. Other credits include The Comedy of Errors, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Two by Two, and Dames at Sea. When not designing, she spends most of her time at the Houston Grand Opera where she is employed in the costume shop. Aside from design, Macy loves to paint, read juicy tabloids and spend time with her native Texan husband. She is excited to be joining the adjunct faculty of Lone Star College–Montgomery teaching Costume Design this fall.
- Justyn Reed Charlie Baker is a freshman at Lone Star College–Montgomery. This is his third production here. Previously he was seen in The Sleeper and 96 Minutes for which he received and Irene Ryan scholarship nomination for outstanding acting. Justyn would like to thank everyone of you who came to see the show and are reading this bio RIGHT NOW! “Without all of you we would be nothing and we really do appreciate all the support in our community!”
- Luke Rocher Owen Musser has come home to Texas after living in Seattle. He is happy to be home, and excited to participate in his first theatrical production ever. Luke is looking forward to graduating from Lone Star College–Montgomery next spring and pursuing a degree in digital forensics.
- Richard “Rick” Sellers Froggy LeSueur/Assistant Director grew up in Mission Viejo/Laguna Beach Ca. where he discovered his love for the stage and performed in West Side Story at Mission Viejo HS. He attended Saddleback College, received a BA for Quality Control Engineering and continued acting by performing in Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Death of a Salesman, A Midsummer Night's Dream and numerous one act plays. This is his second semester at Lone Star College–Montgomery, upgrading his professional skill-set. After a 23 year absence from acting, he is excited to have the opportunity to perform again, share his experiences and learn more about acting by assisting the director.
- Jennifer Stewart, Assistant Stage Manager/Property Mistress, is attending her third semester at Lone Star College–Montgomery with The Foreigner being her debut into theatre in nearly a decade. Previously having been an English major and another published but unknown author, Jennifer is currently working on a degree in Paralegal Studies.
- Timothy Stinnett Townsperson/Running Crew is in his fifth semester at Lone Star College–Montgomery and he is performing in his first production here. He has appeared in No Time for Sergeants, Rumpelstiltskin, and The Happiest Millionaire. Timothy is currently learning German and advocating for vegans in The Woodlands. He plans to own a pizza shop in Italy and teach English. “Cleveland Rocks!”
- Jennie Elizabeth Tracey Running Crew is in her third semester at Lone Star College–Montgomery. She has appeared in productions at the Crighton Theater and Panola Jr. College. Jennie is majoring in Drama and English.
- David Ubel Ellard Simms is a student at Lone Star College–Montgomery who has been the sound designer for The Sleeper and The Shape of Things. He was also the video technician for 96 Minutes. David is a Lighting and Sound Design Major and plans on transferring to Texas State University.
- Chase Waites Director/Set Designer is an Assistant Professor of Drama at Lone Star College–Montgomery where his directing credits include The Shape of Things, The Sleeper, 96 Minutes, Sexual Perversity in Chicago and The Problem. Design credits at Lone Star College–Montgomery include I Hate Hamlet and Company. Chase teaches acting and technical theatre. A Ft. Worth native, he previously spent ten years in New Orleans where he served as the Artistic Director of Theatre and Fine Arts Department Chair at Jesuit of New Orleans. Production credits in New Orleans include award-winning productions of Tracers, The Boys Next Door, The Compleat Works of Wll Shkspr and regional premieres of Dead Man Walking, The Who’s Tommy, Footloose and Copacabana. He received his B.A. in Theatre from Centenary College of Louisiana and his M.F.A. in Drama and Communications from the University of New Orleans. Chase is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors, Association for Theatre in Higher Education, Texas Educational Theatre Association, and The Drama League.
- Timothy Walker Sound Designer is in his second semester at Lone Star College–Montgomery and is working on his first Lone Star College–Montgomery production. He has run sound for seven years for different churches and musical groups, including the worship group Normandy. Timothy is currently working for Lone Star College–Montgomery as an Audio/Visual Technician and plans to major in communication.
