The Center for Creative Discovery at Lone Star College-Montgomery is preparing for its 12th year of summer programs for youth. In addition to the nearly 50 classes that are offered as part of the traditional two-week camp sessions (June 9-19 and July 7-17), the college also offers 14 separate "intensive" camp programs throughout the summer.Register now, upstairs, Building C

A new addition is the Summer Camp Movie Festival. Designed for those in grades 4-8, the festival includes four movies (Tuesdays and Thursdays) shown prior to the start of the traditional two-week camps. For just $12, campers can watch "Happy Feet," "Over the Hedge," "The Ant Bully," and "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit." The movies run from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and campers must be registered for the two-week camp session, which immediately follows the movie.
