Christopher DeJesus
Christopher DeJesus' love of basketball started when he was 12 years old and he's been involved in the sport ever since. After playing at the high school and college levels, he began coaching in 1995 when he formed a team with his co-workers at Continental Airlines. He has had the distinction of taking his team to the Continental Airlines Finals at Madison Square Garden three years in a row. His team competed with the guidance of NY Knick legends Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Charles Smith and John Starks. Christopher's team brought home the championship title in 2004 and 2006. Chris served as Assistant Coach of the mens club basketball team at Lone Star College-Kingwood 4 years before joining Lone Star College–Montgomery. He also continues to coach AAU basketball league for fourth and fifth graders in Atascocita.
Christopher coaches the men's club team at Montgomery. He prefers a fast-pace, up tempo "run and gun" style. You'll experience a high scoring game with plenty of excitement. Chris believes that an important part of coaching is teaching life skills too. The same lessons that apply to basketball apply in life: never quitting and working hard creates a winning atttitude for the game of life. Christopher incorporates these lessons into all of his coaching. Come see the teams play!
