Professional: Raines Taylor 's operatic roles have included Somarone (Béatrice et Bénédict), Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Giuseppe (The Gondoliers) and L’Arbre (L’Enfant et les Sortilèges).
Raines has performed and studied at the Aspen Opera Theatre Center (Aspen, Colorado); Studio Lirico International Opera Workshop (Anghiari, Italy); Chautauqua Institution School of Voice (Chautauqua, New York); Opera Overture Program for Young Singers (Malibu, California) and National High School Music Institute (Evanston, Illinois). In 2002, he was the national third prize winner of the Music Teachers National Association Collegiate Artist Competition finals in Cincinnati, Ohio.
