Student IDs
Student IDs are available at the Student Activities counter (Building A, Commons).
Students taking credit classes will need:
- Proof of registration for current or upcoming semester
(received at time of registration, or a printout of class schedule from My Records) - Photo ID
Dual-credit students will need:
- Proof of registration for current or upcoming semester
(received at time of registration, or a printout of class schedule from My Records) - Photo ID
- Dual-credit students without a photo ID must bring their birth certificate AND social security card. The student must be accompanied by a parent with a photo ID whose name is on the birth certificate.
Individuals enrolled in Continuing Education or ALL may receive a Community ID card for $5.00. There is no charge for the first student ID; however there is a $10 charge for each replacement ID. Student ID cards are valid for two years.
Community IDs
Community IDs are available at the Student Activities counter (Building A, Commons) to any member of the community. To receive a Community ID card, you will need to show a state-issued photo ID. Community ID cards are valid for one year. There is a $5.00 charge for the first Community ID, and a $10 charge for each replacement ID.
Employee IDs
Employee IDs are available at the Student Activities counter (Building A, Commons). Employees must bring a completed Employee ID Verification Form, signed by their supervisor, and a Photo ID. Forms are available to download by clicking the link below or on the Student Activities Documents page. There is no charge for the first Employee ID; however, there is a $10 charge for each replacement ID. Employee IDs are valid for three years.

Your Lone Star College-Montgomery Student ID Provides:
- Free use of Gameroom (Building A, Commons)
- Wellness Center ID (with paid class or membership)
- Library Card (must be activated in the MC Library)
- valid at all Lone Star College System Library sites, including online
- valid at South Montgomery County public libraries
- Copying and printing at Library and ELC
