Health and safety at Lone Star College-Montgomery is everyone’s responsibility. The Health and Safety Committee is a wonderful opportunity for employees and students to become involved.

The LSC-Montgomery Health and Safety Committee meets the first Thursday of every month in Room A102 from 11:30-1:00.  Guest speakers offer presentations on a variety of topics, safety concerns are identified and upcoming health and safety events are discussed.  All employees and students are invited to attend. The Health and Safety Committee offers many training opportunities during the year. Courses include CPR/AED and First Aid, Citizen’s Emergency Response Training  (CERT), and Point of Dispensing (POD) to name just a few.  This is a growing list. Become involved.  Health and safety is for everyone.

Volunteer Opportunity! The Houston/Galveston National Weather Service will host a hurricane workshop on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Many volunteers will be needed for this event. Please click here for information:
