Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival - Regional Festival

The Theatre Department Regional American College Theatre Festival that was held at Tulsa Community College. Over 50 colleges and universities from our region had students there participating.

Four of our students participated in the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition. Trent Hooker and Justyn Reed were the scholarship nominees selected from the cast of 96 Minutes at the state level of ACTF held at San Jacinto College back in October. Brittany Miles and Cooper McClain participated as their acting partners.

Cooper McClain and David Ubel participated on the festival stage honor crew for each show. Both Cooper and David were recognized and awarded for outstanding participation on ACTF Regional Honor Crew.

Our students saw seven full-length productions and participated daily in theatre workshops given by working professionals and educators in theatre.

The ACTF State and Regional festivals are an important part of our students’ education and growth towards becoming working artists. Thank you so much for your continued support of these endeavors.

Congratulations to our students!
