Rules

Basketball Rules include but are not limited to the following:

1. Games will be played by two teams of five players. A team may play with four players. Play can continue if the team decreases to less than 4 players, unless loss is by ejection.
2. The games will consist of two 20 minute haves with a running clock, except the last two minutes of regulation.
3. Seven team fouls in each half will result in bonus shooting.
4. Excessive swinging of arms and elbows is not allowed, even if no contact is made.
5. Mercy rule is twenty-five points with eight minutes left on clock or thirty-five points at any time during game.
6. Substitutes must wait to be waived by in official.
7. Two minute overtime period for tied games. Clocks will stop at every whistle, bonus for all common fouls, and one timeout for each overtime period. One overtime period for regular season games. During playoffs, teams play until a winner is determined.
8. Three technical fouls result in forfeit of game.
9. Dunking is not allowed.
10. Jewelry is not allowed unless medical alert or religious jewelry. This must be taped to the skin.
11. Zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike conduct.
