Welcome to the Lone Star College System (Lone Star College System) Public Safety web site. The HNMCCD Police Department provides public safety services at North Harris College, Kingwood College, Tomball College, Montgomery College, Cy-Fair College, The University Center and District Services & Training Center.
The licensed Police Officers, Security Guards, office staff and student workers are committed to ensuring a safe and secure campus environment. The department is charged with the responsibility of:
- The creation and maintenance of a safe and secure campus environment.
- The identification and elimination of hazards and opportunities for crime.
- The establishment of effective crime prevention programs to educate the campus community.
- The maintenance of protective patrols to deter and detect crime, to detect fire and safety hazards, and to prevent traffic accidents and congestion.
- The enforcement of campus policies, District policy and the laws of the State of Texas.
In all functions, members of the Department are committed to providing professional services, information, and assistance to students, employees and visitors to our campuses.
