Associate Degree Nurse Program
Beginning ADN students are admitted every August. If there are more applicants who meet the admission criteria than space will allow, applicants will be ranked for acceptance into the program. This ranking for placement will be based on:
| 1. GPA in BIOL 2401, ENGL 1301 and PSYC 2301
| | 2. HESI entrance test reading comprehension score.
| | 3. Total number of credits completed of the general education (non-RNSG) in the ADN Degree Plan. | |
ADN applicants will be notified of their admission status in April. Letters of acceptance will be sent to the applicants who ranked highest. Those next in ranking will be placed on the alternate list, and will be notified. Letters of non-acceptance will be sent to those who will not be placed in the class this year. Students accepted into the nursing program must return an Intent to Enroll form to maintain a place in the class. As space becomes available, students on the alternate list may receive an acceptance letter. Applicants who are not placed in the class will have to re-apply the following year. No waiting list will be kept.
