Business and Computers

The ELC is an excellent place to utilize and study computer technology. The computer lab contains a wide variety of software applications for both Windows and Macintosh users. Computer tutors are available to assist students with a broad range of computer related issues during all ELC operarting hours.

Business tutoring is offered in the areas of accounting, economics, and managment during select times.  Please see our business tutoring schedule for more information.

Seminars on computer related topics are offered throughout the semester including some advanced topics. For more information on workshops, please see the Student Success Seminars page for information on scheduling and availability.

Word 2003 to Word 2007 Commands Tutorial (Created by Microsoft Corporation)
This tutorial provides an emulation of Word 2003 where you can perform a command that you are used to in Word 2003 and then see an animated demonstration of how to do the same thing using Word 2007.  This is helpful with locating common commands within the ribbon when transitioning to Word 2007.
