Advisory Board

The Biotechnology Advisory Board consists of research scientists, laboratory specialists, educational experts, and representatives from area industry. The main goal of this board is to foster a cooperative effort between education, community, and industry. It provides leadership to the curriculum, helping to tailor it to workforce demands. The Steering Committee of LSBI, which consists of five faculty members and an administrator, uses the input provided by the Advisory Board to design and implement the curriculum for educational courses.
