Degree Programs

Lone Star College-Montgomery is a great place to begin your career in biotechnology. You may earn your two-year AAS Degree (Associate of Applied Science), then receive guidance about transfer options should you wish to continue your education. The biotechnology department at LSC-Montgomery has worked hard to ensure that your degree will articulate with other universities in the area and provide a smooth transition into a four-year degree program.

If you already have an AS or BS degree in the natural sciences, the Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) in biotechnology may work for you. With the necessary prerequisites, the certificate can be earned in one year. Please see the informational flyer for more details.
