"Engaging Young Minds Through Art, Science and Technology"

Lone Star College-Montgomery orchestrates its summer program for youth for the 12th consecutive year.

Classes are carefully selected with the intent to offer a journey through the arts, science, technology, personal development and sports, while maintaining focus on creative thinking and cultivating an appreciation for the arts.

• Two, eight-day sessions - June 9-19, 2008 and July 7-17, 2008 from 1pm-5pm Monday through Thursday of each week

• Children entering grades 4th-8th as of fall 2008 will choose three classes from the camp's selection.

• Courses offered are taught by Lone Star College-Montgomery faculty, local schoolteachers, professional artists and performers.

• Fee is $195---some classes have additional supply fees which apply at the time of registration. 

Registration begins Saturday, April 19th, 2008, from 8 am - 2 pm in Building A in the commons area. Mailed registrations received prior to April 19th will be returned.

Registration is NOT available online for the Center for Creative Discovery summer youth program due to the complexity of registering for three different classes for each session. We are working toward creating and simplifying this convenience for the community in the near future.
