Thank you for your interest in employing Lone Star College-Montgomery students, alumni and community members. Career Services provides employment resources to individuals and employers. Employers may utilize Career Services to post employment and internship opportunities and recruit potential applicants. Employment services include:
- Career Connections is a district-wide web-based, job posting system where employers can post job listings and internships free of charge. Employers can also conduct resume searches on this website. Please see attached document for website information and instructions on how to register.
- Job Connections is a free mini job fair for employers who want to visit our campus and recruit students. Career Services hosts Job Connections Day during the Fall and Spring semester in Building A (Commons Area) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Job Connections Day is not scheduled during the summer months. Please see attached document for the Fall 2007 semester Job Connections Day schedule.
- Job Fairs are hosted by Career Services throughout the year. We coordinate community-wide job fairs that are general and industry-specific (e.g. health, education, etc). Employers are often required to pay a registration fee to participate in community-wide job fairs. Please contact our office for more information about upcoming job fair events.
In addition, Career Services has certain guidelines for all employers offering part-time and full-time employment or internship opportunities when utilizing any of our employment resources. Please see attached document for the Career Services/Job Center Guidelines for Employers.
