Steps to Successfully Accessing the program:
Step I: Register
Register for 49820 CLANG 3900007 M1021. The official course start date is 8/27 and the end date is 12/10. Tuition is $296. This includes one-year access and six month e-tutor.
Step II: Log-in and download
E-mail stephen.koszewski@lonestar.edu. A User Name and Password will be e-mailed to you after your registration is verified. Instructions for easy downloading of the program will be provided.
Step III: Meet E-tutor
Your e-tutor will e-mail you and begin working with you to get acquainted with the program. E-tutors provide technical and content assistance, keep you on track, and are available for consultation throughout the six month course. Note: E-tutors do not access your program while you are online, or interact with you while you are in the program, but they do receive weekly progress reports.
Step IV: Take Placement Test
The software is for beginners and experienced learners. We suggest taking the Placement Test. It is a 64 question timed test (answer are timed and you can not go back and change your answers). The placement tests vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening skills Test time 30-45 minutes. Or, you may select Self Assessment, which allows you to choose the level you feel most appropriate (Beginner to Advanced/Expert) you can always go back and change.
