Cast and Crew Named for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at Lone Star College–Montgomery
Auditions for Clark Gesner’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown were held recently, yielding a stellar cast and crew for the upcoming summer production. The following area students were selected: James Canfield (Charlie Brown) - The Woodlands High School

Erin Wasmund (Snoopy) - The Woodlands College Park High School
Meredith Tyler (Lucy) - The John Cooper School
Megan Trom (Sally) - Lone Star College–Montgomery
Jaime Stinnett (stage manager) - Lone Star College–Montgomery
Rick Sellers (assistant director) - Lone Star College–Montgomery
Kirsten Hallford (prop mistress/running crew) - Lone Star College–Montgomery

Phil Weimer (light board op/sound tech) - Lone Star College–Montgomery
Chase Waites, assistant professor of drama at Lone Star College–Montgomery, will direct the production. He has worked with many students at both the high school and college levels. “I was very impressed with the caliber of auditions from such a wide array of individuals,” said Waites. “I think we’ve put together a superb cast that will delight our audiences. Everyone has a favorite Peanuts character and now they can see that character take shape on stage. You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a show that has a lot of heart. Audiences of any age will truly enjoy this theatre experience.”
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is the final production of the season at Lone Star College–Montgomery. It will be held Friday and Saturday, July 6-7, and Thursday-Saturday, July 12-14, at 7:30 p.m., with a special Sunday matinee on July 8 at 2 p.m. All productions will take place on the Mainstage theatre (Building D). Ticket prices are $10 for general admission; $7 for seniors; and $5 for students, faculty and staff.

Additional dialogue is by Michael Mayer; additional music and lyrics are by Andrew Lippa. Original direction for this version of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is by Michael Mayer. It was originally produced in New York by Arthur Whitelaw and Gene Persson.
