Research and Planning
The Research and Planning Department of Lone Star College-Montgomery is comprised of two offices: Institutional Effectiveness and Institutional Research.
The mission of the Research and Planning Department is to support institutional decision-making. To this end, the efforts of Research and Planning are organized around four primary clusters of activities:
- R&P serves as an information clearinghouse for the college;
- R&P coordinates institutional effectiveness processes (planning, evaluation, assessment) at the college level;
- R&P conducts policy analyses to inform decision-making; and
- R&P facilitates the strategic planning processes of the college.
Personal Assessment of the College
Environment (PACE) Survey Results, 2007
In May 2007, LSC-Montgomery employees were asked to participate in a survey to determine their perception of the college climate.
With a solid return rate of 21% of the total employees, the survey has given us valuable data that will assist us as we move forward and continue to fulfill our mission as a college.
Hard copies of the report are available at the IT Service Desk and the Library Circulation Desk.
Fact Books
The LSC-Montgomery Fact Book is a structured presentation of information about the college that is frequently requested by administrators, faculty, staff, students and members of the community. The Research and Planning department compiles much of the information included in the Fact Book from data sources developed to respond to the planning, budgeting, and governmental compliance requirements of the college. If the source used is different from the Research and Planning department, the page indicates the source providing the information.
